This 37 year-old patient had excess skin over the central and lower abdomen, with outward protrusion of the abdomen and a small periumbilical hernia after pregnancy and childbirth. A full tummy tuck with muscle tightening and belly button reshaping was done. Using the 3D tummy tuck technique, extensive release of tissue was done without compromise in blood flow and healing problems unlike the traditional technique. This enabled placement of the scar very low and fully covered within the underwear line. Also note the flat and shapely contour in the side profile from rectus muscle tightening and the natural un-operated appearance of the belly button.
