This 42-year-old patient came to our office with concerns of central adiposity and excess skin over the cental and lower abdomen.  She had a LipoAbdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck with Contouring Liposuction of the Abdominal Wall) to regain a flat abdomen and defined waistline.  After photos were obtained 3.5 months post-op.

Patient with excess skin after pregnancy. Patient was an athlete but in spite of exercise was unable to get rid of the excess abdominal skin after pregnancy. She had excellent muscle tone and muscle tightening was not required. She is shown before and three months after a tummy tuck.

This patient had a tummy tuck with extensive liposuction of the entire abdomen to produce a flat and attractive contour. However, note that there is still a three dimensional contoured appearance as opposed to the flat contourless and unattractive appearance with traditional tummy tucks. A minimal undermining technique was used
