Tummy Tuck

Case ID: 3680

Case Details

42 year old woman who was very active and fit with complaints of an unshapely abdomen, outward protrusion of the abdominal wall from muscle stretch (rectus divarification) and a belly button hernia. All these changes developed after pregnancy and childbirth. Abdominal wall muscle tightening was performed along with a tummy tuck and repair of the belly button hernia. After photos show a flatter abdominal contour, a shapely belly button and restoration of normal contours of the abdomen. Notice also the three dimensional appearance with highlights and shadows of normal muscle contours that are present in a healthy and attractive abdomen. This is in contrast to the overly flat and one dimensional appearance with traditional tummy tuck techniques. Even though she did not have much skin excess to be removed, the scar is placed very low and is fully covered with clothing.
